  • Hugues Delannoy

    President of Hugues Delannoy Consulting, LLC.

    After graduating from Ecole Polytechnique and Stanford University, Hugues Delannoy established the European operations of Infinity Financial Technology and Calypso Technology, both enterprise software companies specialized in financial services. In 2000 he founded Assurland, the 1st French online insurance comparison website, which was sold in 2003 to a consortium of insurance companies. Hugues then founded Prima Solutions, an insurance core IT system vendor, which was acquired by Private Equity company Carlyle in 2017. Co-investor alongside Carlyle, Hugues spearheaded the sale of Prima Solutions to Constellation Software Group, a Canadian conglomerate.

    Besides software Hugues has also been a long-time active investor in hospitality and real estate businesses both in Paris and Chicago. He serves on the board of a handful of technology startups as well as non-for-profit organizations.

    JP Le Cannellier brings more than 30 years of marketing and business development experience in consumer and luxury goods, technology and entertainment. He draws from his international experience of having lived in four different continents (Europe, North and South America, Africa). He believes that any challenge, no matter how big or small, can be overcome by collaboration, cutting through the clutter and creativity.

    Scott Kay

    CFO at Evolution

    Scott worked for 10 years in New York and London for JPMorgan culminating in a position as the Global Head of US Dollar Interest Rate Exotics Trading. Leaving JPMorgan in 2010, Scott relocated to Los Angeles to try his hand in hospitality. He opened his first restaurant, Wood & Vine, on the corner of Hollywood and Vine in 2011. In tandem, he launched a consulting and operations business named No Roof Ventures that went on to open several more restaurants and bars. In 2015 he joined LM Restaurant Group as the CFO in order to help implement his restaurant accounting and operations platform.

    His experience with, and love for wine, led him to the Santa Ynez Valley in 2017 where he purchased a small vineyard and started production of his wine brand Watchtower. Scott joined Evolution, a bespoke Executive coaching firm in 2018 as the CFO and COO. He completed the Coach Training Program at Evolution in 2020 as a means to expand his knowledge of the industry and services and to deepen his impact as a leader. Scott is Australian by birth and has lived globally residing in Adelaide, Hong Kong, Chicago, Brussels, New York, London, Los Angeles and now Santa Ynez.

  • Samantha MacLean

    Associate Dean - Learning Teaching and Quality at Glasgow Caledonian University

    Samantha has had an extensive career in human resource management and consultancy. Beginning her career within the hospitality sector In Glasgow she worked with iconic start up Malmaison Hotels before working with renowned brand Hilton International and at the prestigous Loch Lomond Golf Club and Cameron House Hotel. During her time in hospitality she was awarded an Acorn Award, affectionately known as the 30 under 30, the Acorn Awards recognise the 30 brightest prospects in the UK hospitality industry each year. Working at senior HR management level in hospitality Samantha created working environments which empowered all staff to deliver exceptional service in a supportive culture.

    Moving outside hospitality and into HR outsourcing, she was responsible for the transition and transformation of client human resourcing activities. As director of her own consultancy, Samantha worked with clients from the private, public, and voluntary sectors. Samantha currently holds the post of Associate Dean: Learning, Teaching and Quality in Glasgow, Scotland. Whilst working in the academic context she has maintained a strong connection with industry to help create transformative educational experiences for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

    When not working Samantha spends her time running after her teenage children, doing pilates or curled up with a good book (and a glass of wine).
